Copperwing Design
Montgomery, Alabama
This single tenant, 6,500 square foot office building was designed with an emphasis on both functionality and creativity. The owner’s distinct vision for a highly functional space that would also foster the imagination of clients and employees alike was successfully realized in the completed project. The second floor of the building was designed with 2,580 square feet of future usable space that provides the tenant with the flexibility to expand. The unique element that inspired the facade of the building is the authentic Belgian cobblestones surrounding the entrance. The stones were originally used to pave the streets of downtown Montgomery at the turn of the century. As the city grew and began to replace the streets with the asphalt that we see today, the cobblestones were salvaged by the owner's father and put away to someday grace the entrance of Copperwing Design.
